Prayer-Deaf?

It has been inferred that HIV-inflicted Charlie Sheen prayed to "God" for the demise of Donald Trump.

Apparently the mouthy rogue subversive omitted inclusion of Trump's Vice-President-Elect Mike Pence, who - arguably - is publicly more non-cooperative to both homosexuals and abortionists than Trump has claimed to be.

And why did Sheen stop there? Why not include the deaths of all who voted against malicious feminist-goof and inferior-gender Hillary Clinton by voting for braggart and mere-groping-talk business-tycoon Trump . . . the entire national gamut of those non-deplorables opposed to feminist sexism, homosexuality, abortion, evolution, porn, and pro-"palestinian"-"authority" antisemites?

So DOES the actual Creator God (who obviously, intelligently, created and maintains planet Earth and surrounding celestial entities) really and truly hear the prayers of arrogant perverts and deviants?

Well, yes and no.

Does God SEE the evil they want to do and frequently then do?

Habakkuk 1:13 You who are of purer eyes than to behold evil and cannot not look on wrong, why do you look on faithless persons, and are silent when the wicked swallows up the person more righteous than he?

On the other hand,

Psalm 34:15 The eyes of the LORD are toward the righteous, and His ears toward their cry.
Psalm 34:16 The face of the LORD is against evildoers, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
Psalm 34:17 When the righteous cry for help, the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.

Proverbs 5:21 A person's ways are readily visible to the eyes of the LORD, and He watches all their paths.

Proverbs 15:3 The eyes of the LORD are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good.

Amos 9:8 "Hey, the eyes of the Lord GOD are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from the surface of the ground; except that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob," says the LORD.

First Peter 3:12 The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayer. But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.

So much for visual attributes and activity of God the Almighty. But how about His audio capacities and functioning?

The possibilities of that begin with "seeking" the Lord, in attempting to get His attention and favor by audibly petitioning Him in humble and sufficiently-earnest (though respectfully and even fearfully not over-persistent) prayer, and specific requirements are invariably involved with such:

Micah 6:8 He has showed you, guy (or gal), what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

Hebrews 11:6 Without faith it is impossible to please Him, because whoever would draw near to God MUST believe that: (1) He exists and (2) that He rewards those who seek Him.

If an individual believes that a positive response pertaining to one's request to Divinity is possible - better yet, probable - the person has at least a proverbial "fighting chance" to get from the Lord what he or she asks.

But there's more. Significantly more.

"Confidence in confidence alone," or "hope in hope" is not enough:

Job 34:33 Will He then make requital to suit you, because you reject it? So you must choose, and not I; therefore declare what you know.

Is the request in accord with and accommodating to created natural environmental phenomena (all a sovereign and non-alterable/non-defeatable manifestation of God's will) . . . or instead unnaturally contrary to such?

YOU have to get out of GOD's way, because He certainly is NOT going to get out of YOUR way - whether you like that or not!

Does the Creator usually even hear prayers at all?

Most often, He does NOT - whatever they are.

And WHY not?

Several causes:

Matthew 7:13 "Enter by the narrow gate, because the gate is wide and the way is easy, that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many."

Matthew 7:22 On that Day many will say to me: "Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and toss out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?"
Matthew 7:23 And then will I declare to them: "I never knew you; get out of here, evildoers."

Matthew 22:14 "Many are called, but few are chosen."

Luke 13:24 "Strive to enter by the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able.

Notice the prevalence of the word: "many" in the various Scriptural references below:

Second Peter 2:2 Many will follow their [publicly-immodest and porno] licentiousness, and because of them the way of truth will be reviled.

First John 2:18 Kiddies, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have come; therefore we know that it is the last hour.
First John 4:1 Loved ones, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

Second John 1:7 Many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who will not acknowledge the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh; such a one is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Romans 9:27 Isaiah proclaims concerning (not "regarding") Israel: "Though the number of the progenie of Israel be as the sand of the sea, only a remnant of them will be saved."

That written by a master Jew, inspired by THE Master Jew Himself. Clearly no antisemitism there.

So, getting back to our question: Did God hear the anti-Trump prayer of Charlie Sheen, and other prayers of those opposed to the Electoral College's majority choice for President-Elect Trump?

Let's let Bible verses answer that:

Job 35:2 Do you think this to be just? Do you say: "It is my right before God,"
35:3 that you ask: "What advantage have I? How am I better off than if I had sinned?"
35:4 I will answer you and your friends with you.
35:5 Look at the heavens, and see; consider the clouds, which are higher than you.
35:6 If you have sinned, what do you accomplish against Him? And if your transgressions are multiplied, what do you do to Him?
35:7 If you are righteous, what do you give to Him; or what does He receive from your hand?
35:8 Your wickedness concerns you, a mere person, and your righteousness only singular human offspring.
35:9 Because of many oppressions, people cry out; they call for help because of the arm of the mighty.
35:10 But none says: "'Where is God my Maker, who gives songs in the night,
35:11 who teaches us more than the beasts of the earth, and makes us wiser than the birds of the air?"
35:12 There they cry out, but He does not answer, because of the pride of evil persons.
35:13 Surely God does not hear an empty cry, nor does the Almighty regard it.
35:14 How much less when you say that you do not see Him, that the case is before Him, and you are [impatiently] waiting for Him!
35:15 And now, because His anger does not punish, and He does not greatly heed transgression,
35:16 [You] open [your] mouth in empty talk, [you] multiply words without knowledge.

Isaiah 1:15 When you spread out your hands, I will hide my eyes from you; even though you make many prayers, I will not listen; your hands are full of blood.

Isaiah 59:2 . . . your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hid His face from you so that He does not hear.

Jeremiah 7:16 "As for you, do not pray for this people, nor lift up cry or prayer for them, and do not intercede with me, because I do not hear you."

Jeremiah 11:11 Therefore, thus says the LORD: "Hey, I am bringing evil upon them which they cannot escape; though they wail to me, I will not listen to them."
Jeremiah 11:14 "Therefore do not pray for this people, or lift up a cry or prayer on their behalf, because I will not listen when they call to me in the time of their trouble."

Jeremiah 14:12 "Though they fast, I will not hear their cry, and though they offer burnt offering and cereal offering, I will not accept them; but I will consume them by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence."

Ezekiel 8:18 "Therefore I will deal against them in fury; my eye will not spare, nor will I have pity; and though they cry in my ears with a loud voice, I will not hear them."

Amos 5:23 "Take away from me the noise of your songs; to the noise of your guitars I will not listen."

Zechariah 7:13 "As I called, and they would not hear, so they called, and I would not hear," says the LORD of hosts.

But on behalf of the penitent who turn from their wickedness and evil ways, God does indeed listen and respond accordingly:

Second Chronicles 1:7 In that night God appeared to Solomon, and said to him: "Ask what I shall give you."

Second Chronicles 7:14 If my people, who are called by my name, humble themselves, pray and seek my face, turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their [noxiously-polluted] land.

Psalm 2:8 Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession.

Psalm 94:9 He who planted the ear, does He not hear? He who formed the eye, does He not see?

Isaiah 7:12 But [wicked and faithless] Ahaz said: "I will not ask, and I will not put the LORD to the test."

Jeremiah 30:6 Ask now, and see, can a man bear a child? Why then do I see every man with his hands on his loins like a woman in labor? Why has every face turned pale?

Ezekiel 36:37 Thus says the Lord GOD: "This also I will let the house of Israel ask me to do for them: to increase their men like a flock."

Nehemiah 9:28 But after they had rest they did evil again to you, and you did abandon them to the hand of their enemies, so that they had dominion over them; yet when they turned and cried to you, you did hear from heaven, and many times you did deliver them according to your mercies.

Zechariah 10:1 Ask rain from the LORD in the season of the spring rain, from the LORD who makes the storm clouds, who gives mankind showers of rain -- to every one, the vegetation in the field.

Malachi 2:13 And this you do: You cover the LORD's altar with tears, with [pouting and] sobbing and groaning because He no longer regards the offering or accepts it with favor at your hand.
2:14 You ask: "Why does He not?" Because the LORD was witness to the covenant between you and the wife of your youth, to whom you have been faithless, though she is your companion and your wife by covenant.
2:15 Has not the one God made and sustained for us the spirit of life? And what does He desire? Godly offspring. So take heed to yourselves, and let none be faithless to the wife of his youth,
2:16 because I hate divorce," says the LORD the God of Israel, "and covering one's garment with violence," says the LORD of hosts. So take heed to yourselves and do not be faithless.
2:17 You have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet you say: "How have we wearied Him?" By claiming: "Every one who does evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and He delights in them." Or by asking: "Where is the God of justice?"

Matthew 7:7 "Ask, and it will be given you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
Matthew 7:11 If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!
Matthew 21:22 And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith."

Mark 11:24 "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you will receive it, and it will be yours."

Luke 11:9 "And I tell you: Ask, and it will be given you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you."
Luke 11:13 " If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!"

John 9:31 We know that God does not listen to sinners, but if any one is a worshiper of God and does His will, God listens to him.

John 14:13 Whatever you ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son;
14:14 if you ask anything in my name, I will do it.
15:7 If you reside in me, and my words stay in you, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.
15:16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should remain; so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, He will give it to you.

Romans 10:19 Again I ask, did Israel not understand? First, Moses says: "I will make you jealous of those who are not a nation; with a foolish nation I will make you angry."
10:20 Then Isaiah is so bold as to say: "I have been found by those who did not seek me; I have shown myself to those who did not ask for me."
11:1 I ask, then, has God rejected His people? By no means! I myself am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, a member of the tribe of Benjamin.
11:11 So I ask, have they stumbled so as to fall? By no means! But through their trespass salvation has come to the nations, so as to make Israel jealous.

Philippians 4:5 Let all humanity know your forbearance. The Lord is at hand.
4:6 Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
4:7 And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
4:9 What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, do; and the God of peace will be with you.

James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives to all humans generously and without reproaching, and it will be given to them.
1:6 But let them ask in faith, with no doubting, because they who doubt are like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.
4:2 You desire and do not have; so you murder. You covet and cannot obtain; so you fight and wage war. You do not have, because you do not ask.
4:3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your [immoral] passions.

First John 3:22 we receive from Him whatever we ask, because we retain His commandments and do what pleases Him.
5:14 This is the confidence which we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will He hears us.
5:15 And being that we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we will obtain requests made of Him.
5:16 If any one sees their neighbor committing what is not a mortal sin, they will ask, and God will give them life for those whose sin is not mortal. There is sin which is mortal; I do not say that one is to pray for that.
